Management of Records
Records and Information Management are key components of the Information Governance Agenda. Effective records management ensures we have the right information at the right time to support high-quality decision-making. Organisations are required to create and manage records appropriately under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Records may include administrative documents, electronic files, emails, audio/video recordings, x-rays, and CCTV footage, among others.
