Dispensary Team

Duties may vary under the direction of the GP Partners and Practice Manager and Lead Dispenser, depending on workload and staffing levels and may include the following:

  • Communicating effectively using email, telephone, and face-to-face regarding enquiries from patients, pharmacies, hospitals, hospices and suppliers
  • Process prescription requests received via email, post, face-to-face and online
  • Ensuring all repeat prescriptions are processed within timeframe
  • Sorting post-dated prescriptions and submitting unsigned prescription to the GP Partners
